The food is great!!! The customer service on the other hand is TERRIBLE. Older woman with dark hair who thinks she?s the owner or manager has the rudest and most disrespectful customer service I have ever experienced. Not only does she manage the registerbut the food as well. I ordered out and when I got there the food was not ready. Observing with my own eyes she removes thegarlic knots from the warmer and uses her nasty disgusting fingers to guide it into the container. I confronted her about itnicely and this monster made the biggest scene. Called me a liar was repeatedly loud. Threw the knots towards the garbage(missed). Created a whole scene-(the Oscar goes to). I really enjoy the pizza shop, and my coworker and I often order from them, even though their deliveries are usually late. Recently, we placed an order for my birthday lunch and had a rather dramatic interaction with their manager/delivery driver. He called to inform us that they were out of our usual dressing and needed 81 cents for an extra one. However, he couldn't charge it to the card we used for the order. It wasn't a huge deal, but there was some confusion about the 81 cents exchange when they surprisingly arrived on time. I cannot recommend this restaurant during the summer months. While The Pizza Shop offers good food, the atmosphere is quite unpleasant due to the taco restaurant next door completely taking over what was once the outdoor dining area for The Pizza Shop. Now, the small indoor seating area feels more like a thoroughfare for the busy wait staff from the taco place. It seems unreasonable and somewhat elitist that the management couldn't find a way to share the outdoor space, allowing everyone to enjoy the lovely views of the Hudson River and the beautiful summer weather together.

The service was attentive and courteous throughout our visit. However, the atmosphere left much to be desired. The seating area for the pizza section is shared with a bustling, cluttered, and extremely noisy busser and wait staff station for the taco area. The constant movement from the taco kitchen to the outdoor seating made it feel like we were dining next to a busy highway, complete with the clattering of dishes like it was New Year’s Eve. CATERING* We ordered catering from the pizza shop for my birthday party, and everyone kept asking where the food was from. It was delicious from the first bite to the last. The food arrived on time and hot! We frequently order from them and are thrilled that we chose them for catering! Be sure to consider the pizza shop for your catering needs!

This weekend, we tried the artisan thin crust pizza, and it was hands down the best pizza in the area! It was incredibly delicious. The golden mozzarella bombs were a true highlight—absolutely fantastic! We won’t be ordering pizza from anywhere else again.

I absolutely adore this small pizza place and visit frequently. The staff are welcoming, the pizza is tasty, and the Gorgonzola walnut salad is simply delightful!
