Pizzaiolle Mont Royal

This restaurant is ideal for a lovely lunch on the terrace! They serve excellent pizzas and refreshing sangria. The service is also fantastic! We tried the spicy sausage, which was tasty, and we shared an all-dressed pizza along with a four-cheese pizza that had apples; we added prosciutto on top. It was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed chocolate fondant and tiramisu, both of which were superb! I really love this place and we will definitely be returning! P.S. We visited on a Saturday around 4 PM, and by about 5:30 PM, it was packed, with people waiting for tables.

The atmosphere is particularly lovely in the summer when the terrace is open, creating a delightful setting that’s perfect for a first date. Lunchtime is often busy, and they don’t take reservations, but that’s a testament to its popularity. The prices are very reasonable, and when the service is this good, I’m happy to pay a little extra. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

The salad was quite basic, the service was slow, and the drink menu was limited. However, I really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere, and the pizza was rated 4 out of 5. I dined in for dinner, with the cost per person being around CA$30–40. I recommend the Margherita Pizza with Pepperoni.

The patio is fantastic and ideally located in downtown VMR, right across from the park. It feels like a charming little corner of England. It's a perfect spot for enjoying excellent rustic oven-baked pizza.
