Made a large takeaway order for the whole family. As always in French as I believe the least you can do is to make an effort wit the local language. Was met by an exceptionally rude waiter (on the phone) who arrogantly responded: “I don’t understand anything of what you are saying” Now, expressing an order for pizzas in french is not exactly the challenge of the year (even for me) but here was your classic caricature of an arrogant waiter with no sense of who pays the bill!!!
