Pizzas Piccolo - Reservar una mesa

We ate here twice when we were in Medellin, mainly because it was convenient on those nights, but we actually enjoyed both meals, even though other reviewers complained. Maybe it is more expensive than other pizza places I couldn't really say as we didn't have pizza anywhere else, but the pizzas we had were very tasty. Our waiter, Gustavo, was really friendly and very happy to practise his English, which was very good. It was strange, though, that both nights we ordered starters that failed to materialise before the pizzas??? Maybe it's that the kitchen is focused more on getting pizzas out. At the La Playa location close to El Teatro Pablon Tobon... the pizza is way over priced (about triple the cost of home really? and very low quality but hey I 'm on vacation. After ordering from the counter and waiting 40 minutes my pizza comes, I pay because now I 'm late and upon arriving back I notice the tip is included. So that 's how they do business. There are a few other places close by for a 3rd of the price and they don 't steal from the customers. Not sure how this place stay in business.

The pizza was awesome — a lot of variety and a lot of different toppings I never would have thought of. However, the prices were a lot higher than nearby restaurants that were equally as good. Four pizzas and drinks (sodas) was almost $70 USD.

Pizza y pasta deliciosa, precios muy buenos (promedio). Lugar extra limpio, servicio al cliente profesional y agradable. Bebidas perfectas y postres también. Es muy recomendable para familia, parejas y amigos.

Disgusting pizza at more than double the price of excellent pizzerias nearby. I have no idea how this place stays in business or has good reviews? Tried it once- never again. Awful.
