After many recommendations we booked late afternoon to celebrate hubbys birthday.On arrival the place looked busy but this didnt stop the staff being attentive and ensuring we had drinks and olives while waiting for the rest of our party.We ordered Antipasta plates to start, everything item fresh and tasty.Next came the pizza, gorgeous base yummy toppings, unfortunately we had to leave some as there was so much!A bit shout out for the Shiraz, a great accompaniment to the meal and we fimished with a delightful Limoncello.Friendly staff, great atmosphere, tasty food......we will be back.
Went for a friends birthday today and had a great lunch where we had the all in menu. Food was tasty and staff and service excellent. The place runs like clockwork and it was very busy. There was a great atmosphere and watching the pizzas being made was entertaining! Tasting the pizzas was even better and polished off with complimentary limoncello, magnificent! Thank you Pizzateca, we will return!
Hubby and I wanting to check Out this place for a while! Pizza was fresh made in front of us and very tasty, just authentic Italian pizza. Super amazing service from everyone that worked there freindly smiles all round. Felt authentic and as close to. Visiting family and friends as can get from restaurant. Declined lemcello and dessert due to being full but will return to try soon.
Travelling through McLaren Vale during the Sea and Vines Festival we came upon this Italian Restaurant. The staff were welcoming even though it was so busy, and the food was wonderful. Pizza's so authentic with crust that melted in your mouth. Very reasonably priced with a great menu including salad's and olive bread and just to make your mouth water Lamb Skewers to die for.

Pizzateca creates a very genuine Italian atmosphere, with friendly wait staff, great background music and takes full advantage of the beauty of the Mclarin Vale. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beaten only by the pizza itself. Make sure you bring an appetite.

Heard about this place through friends and it books out early. Managed to get an order in with the pomodoro pizza with chilli oil, tiramisu with espresso and it hit the spot. Simple menu, tasty with lots of love

I recently tried some of the best pizza in Australia at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The lamb skewers were also amazing. Reservations are definitely necessary here.
This family-run pizzeria in McLaren Vale offers authentic pizzas. I have visited twice and have enjoyed delicious food on both occasions, with great quality each time.
