During our visit to New York from Wisconsin, we were eager to try an authentic New York-style pizza. We got an extra treat knowing that Pizzatini uses Wisconsin mozzarella—how awesome is that? The pizza exceeded our expectations! I also had the pleasure of chatting with one of the multi-generational owners, who generously gave us a couple of dessert cinnamon twists to take with us. While browsing the deli-style case, I spotted some stunning calzones and unique items I had never seen before. The pizza is bad. It's now of a pizza like food. On par with frozen pizza. It was limp, poorly cooked and made with inexpensive ingredients. If you're looking for real New York style pizza, find another shop.
