"We were very surprised to have emmental cheese instead of mozzarella on most of the pizzas. It’s an individual preference. The service was great, the waitress very friendly."

the restaurant was empty when we arrived at 7:30 on a Wednesday evening which should have been a clue. The four of us were seated by an extremely rude woman who obviously was uninterested in our business. We ordered three pizzas after the waitress insisted that they were too small to share. We could have shared one between three as they were noting special. The Pesto Pasta was undercooked to the point of being crunchy. It didn't have more that a teaspoon of pesto in it and the Parmesan shaved on top was dried out and orange. The bottle of red wine arrived in a bag of ice water which seemed bizarre. But possible the worst was when we asked to take the left over pizzas home, the waitress dumped all the used silverware atop one of the pizzas along with the container of Parmesan cheese and disappeared into the kitchen. She returned to our table with two pizza boxes which we promptly deposited in a handy dumpster. The food was mediocre at best, the service rude and the cleanliness deplorable.

After wandering round the market, my wife and I decided upon pizza for lunch. This restaurant is set right by the side of the river and had a free table so we sat down...and waited. After a while a waitress finally brought us a menu, and we waited again. Then she finally got round to taking our order, and yes we waited some more. If it hadn't been a lovely sunny day, and a lovely location, we would have walked out. And the pizzas did look to be very good. We finally got our pizzas, and agreed that they were indeed very good very light but with plenty of topping. So the chef is obviously a little more dedicated than the waitress. After our meal, my wife still had some wine left, so I ordered a coffee. Which was probably a mistake, because again I waited! When it came time to get the bill, we decided not to wait at the table any longer and went to the till to pay. Where we waited.......

We had a lovely waitress who was great with customers, but the food was so poor. I had penne with garlic and herbs. When it came out it was stone cold, so sent it back and it got microwaved. Hubby had the burger du maison, the bun was burnt, the burger also over cooked and dry served with chips and a lettuce leaf. No pride taken in the food dished out, such a shame as it could have so much potential being situated where it is.

Great location, staff dreadful food was acceptable, but took 15 20 mins to get served (not a busy night either) then when paying, girl behind cashier was incredibly rude. Not an experience we will repeat avoid!
