Pizzeria Bella Italia

Whilst staying in Gmunden we found this gem of a place to eat. In fact we found it that good we ate there times. Later in the week we were speaking with some locals and they recommended this place to eat. The staff were...so friendly and helpful. On the one evening we had a lovely chat with one of the males who runs the place and discussed his time spent living in the UK. The food was excellent, tasty and very well cooked. The service was also excellent, you were never rushed and felt very relaxed. We tried several dishes between us ranging from pizza's, pasta dishes of lasagne taglitelle, scampi. We enjoyed every meal. Also a good choice of wines and beer. Excellent value. We will definitely visit this restaurant again, loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here... so much so we returned the following night....excellent! Pizzas were light, full of fresh tasty ingredients...simply delicious. The best Tortellini Arrabiata ever....so full of flavour. Prices are extremely reasonable, we enjoyed sitting outside the service was friendly ..efficient. Restaurant is away from the busy town centre but an easy flat walk. Highly recommended. Missy-Gail Australia,

If you try to find an open restaurant in the area on a Monday evening you'll find out that there aren't too many options, pretty much everything is closed. That's how we actually got to this one. The food was good. Price also ok. But...the restaurant looks more like a bar, the tablecloths are stained and it's really cold inside. Service was friendly.

Arrived late in Gmunden having been held up in a traffic jam. Other restaurants turned us away as it was after Bella Italia were happy to serve us with a friendly smile. Great service,great food!

The service was really slow and the old waiter didn't seem very interested in serving us. The pizza I had was OK.
