Pizzeria Bello - Reservar una mesa

Me and my girlfriend ate here yesterday, we were a little early as they opening for the evening service at 7pm but we were able to sit down anyway. We ordered our food a few minutes before 7pm which was good as we were the first ones there, the outside seating area quickly filled up as expected because this restaurant has one of the best views of the Villa Vella which is lit up at night along with a nice view of the sea. We ordered our drinks, I had a large beer and my girlfriend had a sprite, both reasonably priced and around the same sort of prices as the other restaurants in the area, the waiter brought these out within a few minutes of ordering them along with some olives which was an unexpected surprise! I had the Fruitti de mare pizza, it normally comes with mussels but I requested that these were swapped with anchovies, the waiter said that he’ll see what he can do, my girlfriend had the tuna pizza which also had peppers and onions on it. Our food came out within half an hour of ordering and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the chef did indeed swap the mussels for anchovies on my pizza, it also had a generous amount of toppings too. We both tucked into our pizzas and they were delicious! The underneath was a little singed however but it didn’t put us off, total bill came to less than €40 for both of us and considering the quality of the food, service and the view you get we felt that this wasn’t bad at all! Definitely one to visit in Tossa de mar, just quality and value all round!

The food was fine but the service we experienced was terrible. We were seated at a table for two and when they came to take our order we asked for some more time but ordered drinks, they came back about 3 minutes later asking again if we were ready to order, when we asked for a few more minutes the waiter looked at his watched and said well we need the table back. So we ordered only mains whilst we drank our wine and left. I have no problem with restaurants needing a table back quickly but we should be told this before we sit down and order a bottle of wine so we can make a decision about how quick we want to be. We also saw them serve almost all groups extremely quickly so if you’re looking for a relaxed evening meal I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Coulnt wait to leave. Waiters think they're in a boot camp, charging around banging bottles and glasses down, splashing water into glasses, what an awful restaurant. Food was tasteless and cold. Don't understand why it was busy, must be holiday makers on first visits, can't imagine any will return. Go to Popa or Giovanni along the road for a much more pleasant experience. Location is the only good thing about it.

After days of deep fried tapas, it was a delight to find this gem. Gorgeous clean food, with veggies something these travellers had been missing. The eggplant Parmigiano, seafood spaghetti and the lasagne were all delicious. Paired with Negronis and a glass of house wine, it came in at a modest price. Our server was delightful, as we practiced our Spanish and he practiced his English. Highly recommend!

We’ve had many meals in Bello over the years. Never disappointed and the owner is always great fun. Good view over the sea from here. Pizzas are great and deserts are very good. Worth visiting.
