We came here early evening for a meal. After a long wait we got to order Spagetti Bolognese and schnitzel. Took a long time to get . And while we were waiting we could see the waitresses carry back food from other guests around us. It was also obvious that they had nop idea who had ordered what, as they walked around the tables asking who had ordered this or that. Anyhow, when we received our orders we understood what was happening around us. The spagetti was unedible, looked like something dug up from the earth. There are many little restaurants and cafés in the square that Da John is situated in. We mused a while before choosing Da John from the bunch, but were very happy we did. Simple and nice food coupled with friendly service in a lovely setting made for a refreshing and revitalising stop. Definitely recommended.

Da John was the second restaurant I visited in Cra. Very simple, a little small but nice. Staff is helpful and cook make pretty good pizza however I have eaten much better. Of course as for conditions of small city is pretty good. In earlier hours can be empty but no worries. It will get full.

We have eaten at John's many times over the years. Excellent selection of pizza, pasta and drink. I recently had the butter chicken which was a delicious choice from their Sri Lankan menu
