Pizzeria Gema - Reserva de mesa

Was there in July 2017, party of 2. Ordered drinks, wine, appetizers and entrees, desserts. Cocktails were the high note. Food is made up of high quality ingredients. There is just not enough of them in every dish. Barely no octopus in the octopus salad. Barely no mozzarella di buffala on our pizza (literally had to look for it). Same for every servingWas there early in the evening - no rush. The servers didn't even inform us of items not on the regular menu. Seated outside, there was no way to find out.We like Stefano quite a bit but were very disappointed this time. There are many other "higher" end pizzerias in Montreal. Will not be coming back here

First of all we have had much better pizza in Montreal. We spent over 120$ for a pizza, 2 appetizers and a bottle of wine which were very overpriced. The worst of it all is with appitizers we asked for bread as we are italian and we eat bread and we were tols THEY HAVE NO BREAD and I never heard a restaurant that has no bread. I taught she was joking and laughed. So Stefano Faita i hope you read this and go visit your rstaurants to see what is going on!

Pizzeria Gemma is an excellent restaurant in Little Italy. I highly recommend trying the Crudo Pizza paired with a calamari starter. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant starts to get busy around 6 PM, but making a reservation should eliminate any concerns. If you plan on arriving later, be sure to secure a reservation beforehand.

I'm Italian, used to Italian food and flavour, I have to say this Pizzeria is very good, a very nice place, and rhe taste of pizza was really nice!! Also the coffee is perfect!! Great staff, great place, great pizza!! Chapeau Just a note: I'm really sorry to see a religious symbol in the entrance, a Madonna, but maybe Italian emigrants are more linked with religion... Nice pie, but extremely slow service. We were there for almost 2 hours waiting for our salad and pizza. Waaaay too long.Also, they forgot to fire our pizza as customers who sat after us were in and out before we received ours and our waitress blamed the kitchen for being slow. Kinda lame to lie about it instead of just apologizing for missing our order.

Always a busy spot, even on a Monday. There were only two FoH on doing indoor/outdoor service, cocktails etc. they were amazing. Calamari and Salad Gema exceeded our expectations. Hawaiian pizza was great with a spicy kick. I did find the vetri pizzas a bit light on sauce, so a little bare, but overall really good!

My wife and I went to Gema for pizza. It was so good that we went back a second time. Ordered two different types of pizza. The staff was friendly and welcoming especially the manger and our waitress Camille. Gema has excellent desserts as well. Reserva una mesa ahora

Waiters were a little slow, waited and waited till we ended up waving someone over to take our order. The pizza though, absolutely phenomenal. Best I’ve had in years.

My wife and I visited during a recent trip to Montreal. Pizza was delicious. Great and helpful service. We also really enjoyed the desserts ordered.
