Pizzeria La Milanaise

August hr : time to eat. By car we entered Les Eyzies-de-Tayac and tried to find a parkingspot. Forget it. After trying parkings we were almost out of town. Suddenly, opposit the train-station we saw a place. Free !! We had to...walk back for about a whole ten minutes and arrived at la Milanaise. In spite of no reservation they found a table for us and that towards hr We ordered two salads and of course, two pizza's. But we reduced that soon to pizza, when we saw the size of them. It was totally no problem to eat one pizza together. It was even possible to order two different halve sizes !! And agin people had time for you to tell something about the restaurant and their city. The pizza took some time the terrace was totally full but the atmosphere was very pleasant. Around us we heard German, English, Belgian and French. Everybody enjoying their meals. Our pizza arrived, already carved so we could put the slices on our own plates. A chance to eat two flavors. I must say: the salad and the half pizza was enough for us. We passed dessert and ended with a nice strong espresso. Terrace with parasol shadow toilets OK Parkingspace: more then in town-center little traffic on the road. The tip was well-earned

When in Les Eyzies we always make time for a visit here. One reason only, the delicious veal, smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce, on perfectly cooked fresh tagliatelle, but so as not to feel like we have missed out we also get a plate...of their crunchy fries to share too! Glass of red for me, beer for him, what more could we want. To be fair we went tonight and both agreed that their Escalope a la creme is the best dish we eat in Les Eyzies, and we have eaten at all of the restaurants. Just go and try it, you'll go home extremely full, but very happy

Avoid the salads of you do go here. The staff hardly wear their masks and if they do three mask usually hardly covert the mouth. Water bottles from one table are refilled without any cleaning before being served to other customers. Our salads were of...very poor quality. The salad itself was not fresh but the biggest problem was the poor taste and the sheer volume of the dressing. An hour later or mouths were still full of the taste of vinegar

Although this is advertised as a pizzeria, they have good, delicious local cuisine here. We had the cassoulet, which was on special that night, and the salad de gezier. Both were really good. A carafe of the local white and red went well with the...meal. Very nice, friendly staff and outdoor dining make this a great place to have a meal in Les Eyzie

Great food, large meals. Friendly staff, good prices. A mix of french and Italian food. The best lasagne I've eaten in a long time
