When my friends told me that we are going to that restaurant and I checked the reviews on TripAdvisor, I was more than concerned. We went on a late afternoon and so it wasn't too crowded. The setting outside is nice but since it was too cold for us we decided to go inside. The first impression wasn't that good. You have to walk down a staircase which looks like the entrance to an odd basement. Once you are down in the restaurant you will be surprised by a nice setting. The food was really good. We had different pasta dishes and pizza. Everything was tasty and unique in flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and made a couple of jokes with us. I would definitely go there again.
We didn 't search in time, so we walked and took the first restaurant we saw, an Italian one. After ordering the food came very quick. Sometimes, if you are hungry, you like that, but a pasta and a pizza, so fast????? If you bake a pizza it costs time to have bake a good ans tastefull bottum and so on. Finally the food was 'to normal ' (I don 't want to use the word poor, that is too strong) The service was OK and also friendly
Food and service were both good without being great. Reasonably priced, good variety and location. Had the calamari which came with a salad and bread. Salad had too much mayonnaise on it for my liking. Calamari came out whole and with agarlic dressing you could add a small you wished was quite nicely presented and good to eat. With a glass of red wine and small water came to 21 euro.
Dropped in for lunch without having looked at TA, perhaps better so, we had no preconceptions. My pastra amatriciana off the lunch menu was pretty good, although I have had better, but nothing to complain about for a low price. My wife ordered squid off the specials board and it was excellent a big plate too. Friendly, Italian staff. Plenty of seating outside.
