Pizzeria Saladerie de L'Horloge

I had the luck of eating at Pizzeria Saladerie de L'Horloge while in St. Quentin la Poterie, France today. Tired and thirsty we sat out on the spacious umbrella covered terrace where Jerome (the proprietor) and his mother served us a delicious half pizza and salad for lunch. The food was fresh and quite tasty. We had the 4 Formages pizza and also one with cheese, bacon, ham and onion - both delicious! Although I ordered the 4 Formages pizza and thought it good, I felt the other was tastier. A large salad, 1/2 pizza and coffee were only 11 Euros. Jerome told us he has only been in business several months and hopes for success. He and his mother were very attentive to our needs. The restaurant...

after 10 days in France we were looking for something different and this restaurant was recommended. We ate a late dinner, three pizzas and an order of ravioli for the four of us. Jerome owner/chef was friendly. Inside eating area is fairly small but we were fine. Most of the traffic this time of night seemed to be carry out. Food fresh, hot and quite good. We were very happy with the choice. There is an outside seating area which looked like it could be a lot of fun. If you find yourself in St-Quentin-la-Poterie looking for this type of food do not hesitate to give this a chance.

We stayed 2 wks in St. Quentin and found this gem on our first night. The thin crust pizza was some of the best I have ever had. The service was superb and the house red fabulous. We plan on making this one of our hangouts for the next 2 wks.

Had a delicious pizza with goat's cheese and honey for under 10 euros as a take out. Much improved from the previous owners. I think times are not easy for businesses like this and I hope they succeed.

Basic but tasty local Pizzeria. Seemed like a lot of locals using it which was a good sign. Very good value for money and friendly service. Ideal for kids as tables are all outside.
