A fine place if you enjoy overpriced, mediocre food and forgettable service. We visited PJ?s recently upon the advice of one of my dining companions, whose judgment I?ve begun to seriously question after eating at this establishment. If you have no expectations and enjoy wasting money, by all means, come here! Since they have an extensive breakfast menu, I decided to do breakfast for dinner and ordered a western omelette with a side of French toast and Canadian bacon. Well, to start with, our extremely apathetic waiter could answer no questions about the menu and seemed eager to finish his shift as soon as possible. When the food arrived, the omelette wasn?t exactly hot, and the side of bacon was nowhere to be seen. It?s hard to screw up a western omelette, but apparently they found a way. The eggs didn?t seem fresh and the ham was very strange. I couldn?t even eat half of it. When I asked about the missing Canadian bacon, the waiter admitted to forgetting it and sheepishly advised the kitchen to put in a rush order. The result was a greasy mess on a plate of tough overcooked meat. Ugh!! This meal made me seriously consider becoming a vegetarian. One of my dining companions had pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were average but, honestly, I?ve had better at roadside diners. I mean, if you?re calling yourself a pancake house, they should be something special. The only highlight of the meal was the tasty **** Mary I ordered. I should have had several and skipped the entree. Certainly the service was nothing to write home about. Between the waiter forgetting part of my order and not even bothering to check on us after the food came out, I?d sooner forget him altogether the way he forgot that we?re paying customers. No wonder the place was empty when we got there and didn?t exactly fill up as we were leaving either. If you?re in the mood for breakfast, just visit a local diner instead and use the extra money to leave a nice tip for a deserving server.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The prices were very high but I assumed they were commensurate with the quality of food. I ordered eggs and pancakes, my daughter eggs, and my husband a sandwich. The food was average at best. It was served lukewarm and we were not provided silverware. Our food sat for quite a bit of time while the person who brought us our food searched around the restaurant for silverware. There must have been an issue today because the tables on either side of us waited over 15 minutes for silverware after their food was served. The one table had young people seated and my husband was kind enough to try to find someone to get them silverware. What a mess. I will not ever go back there again.

This was our second time coming here and probably will be our last. I will say the first time we had a much better experience but this time my husband and I decided to share the chicken and waffles since we were told it is a very large meal and expected it to be for $26. However it was one Belgian waffle and four small pieces of fried bone-in chicken. Plus an extra tiny little bottle of maple syrup for $4 and a $6 glass of orange juice we basically had one meal with tip for $42! And it was average at best. If you are going to come probably stick with the pancakes that they're known for!

Overpriced everything $4 extra for Vermont maple syrup? Serously?! . Pancakes had little flavor by themselves, and the apricot jelly that I chose as my topping was completely overwhelming. Pastrami hash skillet was also lackluster. The eggs were made perfectly, but the taste was lacking. It was very nice sitting outside, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. But the food wasn't anything special. Go to your favorite diner instead of here. You'll get better taste for your money.
