Meeting with my Greek contractor, James Kifonidis, at Image Kitchen Bath, on the other side of Hunter Mill Road from SouvlakiBar, I mentioned how disappointed I am with them, describing my one and only visit. He recommended Plaka in Vienna. Following our meeting, I went there for lunch. In contrast, Plaka is five star! Chicago Gyro immediately caught my eye on the menu, so I ordered it along with Humus, Spanakopita, and a Mythos Beer. I came around 3 or so to pick up some late lunch. This is my go to place when I’m having a long day. Well, I get my food as normal and head home. The food is delicious except for the fries. The fries were cooked before and reheated in hot oil. They are horrible. This is the first time I’ve been here after lunch time. Please have the cooks throw the old fries out and not serve them to customers.

Stopped by here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The place wasn't crowded at all, good parking out front and back, but in a busy area. The food was pretty good, it wasn't great, but it was decent. We got the Plaka Gyro and Falafel appetizers. Again, nothing to rave about. The people were nice, the place seemed relatively clean. Overall it was fine, prices aren't super high either.

Ordered from this location for the first time, the fries were old unseasoned the gyros were dry. We tried calling the location, but the woman who answered said she’d tell the chef, said thank you very much, and hung up. Was hoping to enjoy the food, but unfortunately did not. I have liked Plaka in the past, though the prices have gotten very high for what you get. Tonight I ordered a chicken souvlaki bowl and it had three small pieces of chicken in it for $15 and no pita bread included.

Been getting take out from here for years. I’ve moved away now but anytime I’m visiting family in the area, we make sure to do a plaka night. Their avgolemono soup is what dreams are made of.

Oh man, great authentic Greek food in Northern Virginia. Great variety of dishes, great customer service and very affordable. Good for the whole family. I strongly suggest.

This is the best takeout place for fresh, good quality food. Best for salads. The restaurant area is just tables and chairs, pizza place style, I wouldn’t recommend it Reserva una mesa ahora

Is this really a Greek restaurant? It's a joke! Food quality and taste of meat are awful. This is even an insult to Greek food overall

This is the King of all gyros. And it’s consistently good and they’re very generous with their portions.
