Here's my review for Plaka. We visited with a group of 6 adults and 4 children. My daughter had called ahead to make a reservation for us. Upon arrival, we were seated in a comfortable area.

This restaurant is just a few blocks away, and it was my first time dining there. They don’t have a wide variety of dishes or any special offerings. We ordered some drinks, but they didn’t have much to choose from — just dry wine and Rossi. For appetizers, we shared octopus and calamari. The octopus was tender and decent, but the calamari was tough and had a bit of a smell. My main course was fish, which was rather bland, though not terrible. Mmmm! You absolutely have to try the grilled octopus! It’s fantastic because they source it from Spain and cook it perfectly. I also ordered the gyro platter, which came with grilled vegetables, sauce, and a Greek salad. There’s so much food, especially since they kick things off with pita, balsamic, olive oil, and herbs! You’ll definitely have leftovers for tomorrow! I couldn’t finish it all. The highlight of my visit was Sylvie; she’s a real treasure! She even sent me home with a sponge cake made by her aunt! This is a wonderful little family restaurant with the freshest ingredients. You won’t regret dining here. Enjoy!
This is my favorite cafe for breakfast. I go every Sunday but always crowded. The cafe is small but I like the girl Emily working there. She is excellent and very sweet, helpful, friendly, and has good memories. She knows my order. I don't have to tell her. Fantastic Greek cuisine! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. It's a family-owned restaurant, and it truly feels like you’re dining at home. The service is excellent, and the owner, Anna, is incredibly welcoming and treats everyone like family. It was an amazing experience, and we’ll definitely keep coming back with the family. They also have plenty of options for vegans!
The food was excellent, and the waiter was very friendly. Although the service took a bit longer than expected and they had run out of bifteki, they recommended a delicious chicken breast as an alternative. Given the busy Mother's Day crowd, we had a wonderful experience overall.
I placed an order through Grubhub without any particular expectations, but I stumbled upon a true gem! The falafel wrap was fantastic, loaded with fresh vegetables, and the onion rings were unlike any I’ve ever tasted. I'm eager to dine in and sample more dishes from this place!
The food was decent, though not exceptional, but the service was excellent.
