Plan du fou - Reserva de mesa

We visited this restaurant, at the summit of Plan du Fou, for an organised evening entitled Sunset Plan du Fou. Tickets are sold via the gondola office adjacent to the free car park at Siviez or online via the Nendaz Tourism website. We did not really know what to expect as the details provided online are minimal. It is advertised as a 3 course meal: Assiette Valaissiane (cured meats), Raclette and Apricot Sorbet. The gondolas begin to run from 6:30pm and this journey is included in the price. have visited and appreciated this mountain top restaurant / bar for at least 10 years, but now have two unpleasant visits in this week, where an angry chef (or is he the owner) screamed at me and other guests, all of whom had only been admitted. after the Swiss Covid app (double vaccinated). Today he refused to serve us even, he said, because my wife wore a sniff (facewear,) but at least the half of the skiers in the restaurant had exactly the same (i.e. no official face masks) and he himself, as they can see, wore a visier, no masks. the eating and the mountain views are good, but I can see from other reviews that our experience is not unique, so recommend that you avoid this place for now,...

we went for a family dinner and my son ordered 4 chicken bugs as shown on the menu. he got a teller with pommes and three nuggets. When he asked after the fourth nugget, the chef went mad, threw the whole plate on the müll. And gave him a new one, where he handpicked the four smallest chickens he could find. to overstand it, he said with a snoring: now they have less than before. unbelievable behavior! avoid this place! and I didn't even talk about the dirty tables and the high prices.

depuis 25 ans nous nous arrêtons régulièrement au plan du fou pour 1 pause déjeuner...mais cette année avec ce changement de tenanciers sera la dernière!consommer pour 10 euros par personne ne nous permet pas de manger notre collation...en cuisine quelqu'un hurle chaque fois qu'1 plat est servi...dehors ne laissez surtout pas vos skis au sol ou vous risquerez de devoir les chercher longtemps...bref le pan du fou n'est plus bien tenu autant le savoir! Nous y avons mangé une croûte au fromage, rœsti campagnard et le menu du jour servi avec salade ou potage et dessert en prime, rapport qualité/prix excellent. Le patron est fort sympathique et à toujours un mot pour rire malgré la forte affluence. Belle terrasse au sommet du plan du fou avec une jolie vue en cas de beau temps!! Terminé le repas avec le café du fou, au top!! Si vous êtes dans le coin, arrêtez vous y, vous ne le regretterez pas!!

Franchement c'est la toute 1ère fois que nous nous sommes arrêtés sur cette terrasse et franchement nous ne l'avons pas regretté.La chose fabuleuse est la vue que l'on a depuis ce sommet juste fantastique, j'y joint même une photo.Nous avons manger des rœstis montagnards, qui sans être exceptionnels, étaient correct et bien servis.J'y retournerai pour la vue ainsi que pour le lunch du midi.

Durante un'uscita a sci dalla parte di Siviez è una fermata obbligatoria alla fine della giornata. Oltre a gustare gli ultimi raggi del sole e volte un tramonto favoloso, c'è nel ristorante una larga gamma di vini della regione. Il personale è molto affabile e competente Ogni anno è un piacere fiatare un attimo con un buon bicchiere di vino e in buona compagnia!

Horrible établissement à éviter absolument. La nourriture est innommable et le service déplorable. C'est sans aucun doute un restaurant qui participe à la baisse de fréquentation du tourisme en Valais. A noter que la vue reste magnifique Reserva una mesa ahora

This cafe is located in 2400 meters with a beautiful view over the Alps in Valais. The service is very friendly - the menu basic and they can serve a great cup of hot chocolate. They have local wine for the adult public.

good food. faster service in comparison to some restaurants on the bergen. they usually eat here once on our trip.
