Planet Beat - Reservar una mesa

Been going to Planet Beat since it opened, so I think that gives me pretty good authority to judge it haha To this day it's probably one of my all time favorite restaurants. It's the kind of place that you immediately suggest when your friends ask were to eat, because it's quirky, fun, and the food will keep you up at night because it was so good. It's the ultimate comfort food that I have yet to find anywhere else, so you may risk having cravings for this restaurant alone. There's also board games, and nice drinks and loads of beer to choose from. To this day, It's still my first takeout choice, and if that's not a sign about how good this place is- it's been a good 5 years of essentially this being my only choice. Maybe an unsung hero of the food here are the desserts (brownie banoffee pie), but probably share- they're so filling. The staff are great, super friendly and owners deserve all the success they get. They've really earned it, you can tell this place has got a real soul. The only critique I would say is before COVID their veggie alternatives were insanely good- but apparently that's due to sourcing.

Okay please listen to my advice right now. Go to that restaurant, especially if you have the munchies, and try their food. It is so good. Their papas rancheras, jalapeño poppers, and mac and cheese burrito (trust me it sounds weird, i was also skeptical but wow its good) are so good. I highly recommend. I did have a problem once where we ordered from them for delivery and not only did they charge us extra for delivery (around 6-8 euros extra), they also didn't have change. the total bill was 38 euros, we told them on the phone in advance we only have cash, and we gave the delivery man a 50 euro bill and he had no change. I was shocked. And he didn't even try to apologize he just laughed it off. You must always come prepared when you deliver to somebody's house. So that was extremely disappointing, but because the food is so good we let it slide. My recomendation is to pick the food up at the restaurant and bring it home. The restaurant isn't the most appealing, but the food is great. 9/10 for food. Don't order the healthy stuff. The best food they have is the greasy stuff.

Absolutely fantastic little place to take children or friends. Eye catching decor with some great talking pieces. Games to play while you’re waiting (which isn’t long even when they have big and busy tables). Service comes with a smile. And the food is good! Wait for the surprise bathrooms super cool! All in all, a lovely experience to have with family or friends. Recommended!

I tried to eat here lat time in the area and it was closed so today when passing by I called in for lunch and the staff were great really helpful and friendly and they recommend the Chilango burrito and it was great really tasty and filling and I would definitely recommend this place and I will come back again for sure, thanks for a great meal and service!
