You just will not believe the quality of food you get in the menu (should be an accent on the u), especially for the price. They serve a wonderful 9 euro menu every day and it is by far the best quality for price we encountered in our 5 weeks in Spain. And, the management and staff are so friendly and helpful. We didn't stay in the hotel, but we would bet it is a great experience too, as it is just off the main plaza within easy walking distance of the wonderful churches that Ecija offers. Teníamos una mesa reservada para 6 personas ayer a través de The Fork. Cuando llegamos, fuimos recibidos de manera grosera por la camarera, quien dijo que no había recibido ninguna reserva (a pesar de recibir un recordatorio ayer por la mañana en mi móvil) y cuando le mostré mi reserva, dijo que tampoco tenían un descuento del 50 por ciento. ¡El restaurante estaba lleno con lo que parecía ser un grupo turístico! ¡Ni siquiera se disculpó! ¡No volveríamos a este restaurante!
Went there in the end of August for my birthday and the city was empty. This was the only place that had actually some 'life ' as there was a wedding celebration. Had a really good meal and I was amazed about the service. The place was really busy but the manager took time to sit with us and actually tell us what to do in our short stay. She was so proud of her city! Glad I stopped there!
Nos topamos con este restaurante mientras visitábamos Écija. Paramos para tomar un café a media mañana y el propietario, que habla un inglés perfecto, nos explicó sobre su menú del almuerzo, 3 platos de comida casera y una bebida por 9 euros cada uno. Decidimos regresar unas horas más tarde y probarlo. La comida estaba realmente buena y el servicio también. ¡Excelente comida casera!

Recomendamos parar en Plateria para disfrutar de una de las grandes comidas diarias (comida típica local) en un ambiente muy relajado y limpio en Ecija. Fue la primera vez en España que nos sentimos muy bienvenidos en un restaurante. La hermosa camarera hizo un gran trabajo y explicó todo en inglés. Gracias, lo pasamos muy bien.
Paramos a almorzar en Écija de camino entre Ronda y Córdoba. Écija es una ciudad bonita, con muchas torres. Tuvimos un excelente almuerzo en La Platería por 9 euros, que incluía pescado fresco del mercado. El dueño es muy amigable y habla bien inglés. Aparcar bajo la Plaza de España es fácil y a dos minutos a pie.
We had lunch here. Wide choice, including very good salads and excellent home made desserts. Lady in charge spoke almost perfect English and helped with choices etc. Good decor and atmosphere. Wifi worked perfectly. Also good value. I don't know but suspect hotel would be good too.
The hotel is centrally located. Parking in nearby. Access by car is a little difficult. But this mezns the hotel is pleasantly quiet while still very cebtral. Food in the restaurant is good. There's lots of alternatives nearby if you want an alternative.

Our lunch of local food wine was delicious and great value. Good english was spoken by our friendly and informative hostess. We recommend restaurante La Plateria strongly. It's the best value in Erija. Jan Evert Keman, the Netherlands
