excellent service was recognized as soon as we came in and asked if we had booked, we said no what was not a problem. we were taken to a table and a menu, also asked which drinks we would like. we both went for the fish and chips that I would highly recommend, they cannot beat homemade chips. great value for money and friendly staff.

I had the most amazing Christmas dinner at Platform 1864! The food was absolutely out of this world, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. My glass was never empty, and the wait between courses was just right. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank you, Platform 1864, for a wonderful experience!

We stopped for the lunch here the other day, food was excellent and with fresh veg at no extra cost Service was excellent also, will definitely be calling in again. Thank you.
