This is the worst halal restaurant in my area. I ordered two platters of lamb and chicken, but the lamb was nearly non-existent, and the chicken was as dry as a piece of bread left out in the sun for days—lacking any flavor. Everything was so mixed together that I could hardly distinguish the lamb from the chicken. On top of that, it was way overpriced, and there was no option to choose the size of the platter I wanted. I will never eat here again; I'd rather pay the toll and drive to NYC for some authentic halal food.
The prices are really good for the quantity and quality of food you get. The falafel pita was excellent and probably one of the best I've had in recent history!! The falafel was tender and fresh, even 10 min before closing. This was a great random find late at night. My friend told me about this place and since i wanted a platter i gave it a go. The good thing about Platter King is that it is locally located. It is on Bergenline, you can park in any of the meter parkings nearby. I got a small chicken platter for around $10. The platter was very filling. The only thing i would have changed would be more seasoning on the chicken. If the chicken had a little more seasoning then it would have been great and not simply ok.
Ordered thru “Their” website. Not grub hub or another outside source. Waited over an hour for my order just to be told they have no idea what it was. Told me my refund would come eventually and offered nothing. Terrible way to run a business. Judging by the way they don’t even attempt to reach out just shows their indifference towards patrons.

The beef was overly tough and lacked flavor. Additionally, they only offer a large portion meant for two people, making it not a good value for money. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Food rating: 1/5.
Best Halal Restaurant Around! The food is always cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Plus, the wait time is never long. Dietary note: I really appreciate that they offer lamb!
