Playa Bowls - Reservar una mesa

The first time I had an Acai bowl from Play Bowls in Watchung, the granola seemed to be stale. I thought maybe I was being a bit critical because I compared it to an Acai bowl that I had gotten from Cafe Nune in Branchburg. I went back today and got another Acai bowl. This one tasted like it had freezer burn. Not good at all. $12 down the drain. I phoned the store to tell them about the issue and, as I expected, they defended their product. The person I spoke to insisted the Acai was just freshly blended today. She ASSUMED it was the Acai that caused the freezer burn taste. I will not go back there. Don?t go to this playa bowl there is an issue with substituting things with your order example I wanted to sub coconut flakes for peanut butter and they told me I cannot I can sub almond butter but not peanut butter .Never had this issue before at any other playa bowl. I had about 15 bowls to order and the place was not busy so I decided not to order since on the first order I was already told what I could not do .honestly I think the girl just wanted to count the cash in the register since it was the beginning of the day ? Will NEVER go back on top of this place was dirty mind you 9 am on a Saturday with no one there but the two workers .

Delicious and healthy fruit bowls, BUT this location has some problems with the cleanliness, the staff looks like they do t want to work and also one time I even had an açaí bowl with a rotten mix, which thankfully I was able to get 2 free bowls for their mess up. Just look at the pictures I sat there for an half hour and none of the 3 workers lifted a finger to clean the mess they had in the lobby also their working area was filthy

The fruit bowl was so good. It was my children's first time. They enjoyed it. The young man behind the counter was very soft spoken and polite.We definitely will be back

This was my first time trying a playa bowl and I really enjoyed it but they forgot the Nutella on my bowl.
