I would like to say the food is great. The staff are nice and friendly. However, the only real problem we had was it took forever. Like literally forever to get our order. Only 2 people working and there was quite a few people ahead of us. They were also working very hard and hustling to get orders done. Just not enough people for the crowd that could gather there. I'm sure they were overwhelmed but... I understand that the times we live in create the situation of being shorthanded. My only gripe is, sometimes, people don't have time to wait 20 to 30 min for an order. My rating is based on the time it took to get the order, not the store, not the service.
When someone orders a frozen sorbet bowl, the last thing you want to do is leave it sitting on the counter, melting, while waiting for them to arrive. I showed up seven minutes early for my scheduled pickup, thinking I could just wait. I can't even imagine what would have happened if I had been on time, picked it up, and then traveled back to my destination only to find it completely melted and inedible. The staff at this particular location really needs to improve. I will definitely choose any of the other locations from now on, as they have always retrieved my order from the fridge.
this is the second time i've been really disappointed in this location. I asked for a pita vida with no honey, the bowl came out with honey which i can't eat. I politely brought it back and was faced with attitude from the workers. The second bowl was madecorrectly but on my third bite I found an extremely long hair in the granola. I understand that things happen but this is not myfirst experience where i was dissatisfied. I also wrote the company but still haven't heard back from them. I would skip thislocation in the future.
I always enjoy discovering a Playa Bowls when I'm on the road. This location in Somerville was fantastic, featuring plenty of seating and a warm, accommodating staff. My go-to is the acai bowl, which can easily be made vegan by requesting vegan granola and agave in place of honey. While the bananas do come with honey, all of the other fruit toppings are free of it. They also have fresh juices and are happy to customize your order. It's impressive how delicious healthy food can be!

Great place! It's very clean, has a fantastic location, and features a unique menu. I love the artwork displayed in the shop. The fruit bowls are amazing, but I usually visit for the smoothies. The staff is always friendly and accommodating whenever I stop by. I give it 5 stars mainly for the cleanliness and the distinctive offerings at Playa Bowls. I definitely recommend giving it a try at least once!
I absolutely love that at Playa Bowls, you can customize any bowl to your taste. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and having the option for delivery makes it our top choice for a healthy snack. My favorite is the coconut bowl, while my husband enjoys the acai bowl. Recently, our son tried the newest item on the menu, the Goldie Mango bowl.
The staff at this restaurant were friendly, patient, and kind. Our bowls and smoothies were excellent. The place was clean and tidy, but unfortunately, the lyrics of the songs playing were quite inappropriate and offensive. It would be nice to hear clean, radio-edit versions of the songs. Don't they make those anymore?
I've never been a fan of cold brews, but this coconut cold brew with soy milk really impressed me. The coffee was a delightful experience on its own, and the açai bowl was incredibly delicious! Can we start a petition to bring Playa Bowls to Europe???

I ordered in advance, but my order is always incorrect, and I'm constantly missing items. Each time there's an error, it takes me 20 minutes to return. Food: 1/5.
