We sold our property known as Singing Tree Acres next to the gas station which is now called the Woodland Reserve by Tripoint Homes. When we sold I was led (more like mislead) to believe that the City of Kirkland was going to preserve all of the beautiful trees on the four acres especially the cedar trees bordering the front of the property. The trees were beautiful. Anyway. We return to the area to see how our family property has changed then we order our food (takeout) at Plaza Garcia. It's been about ten years since my last visit to this restaurant, and I’m really pleased to see that it’s still open and just as good as I remembered. I appreciate its unpretentious and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I asked for a flavored tea, and the server informed me that he could make any flavor. He even offered a few suggestions, and I decided to try the mango tea. I was not disappointed! It had a great flavor that was sweet without being overly so, making it incredibly refreshing. My daughter really enjoys the queso fundido with chorizo, and it was quite good. This place is GREAT! Great food, cute space and attentive, friendly service. My partner and I came in tonight on a Wednesday night at around 7:30 and it was still busy when we left at 8:15! We ordered the Deluxe Camaron Enchilada and the Carnitas de Puerco. The food was flavorful with good quality ingredients even the rice was so good! The secret is the wings. They serve so much chicken, and they cut it all up and serve the breasts and thighs in their burritos or whatever. But they have a FRYER! And they'll fry up wings. I swear they're the best chicken wings you'll ever have, no joke. The Buffalo chicken wings are SO good.

The food here is fantastic! What truly impressed my husband and me was Carlos' exceptional service. He is always friendly and attentive during our visits. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a margarita and have a wonderful date night.
