The filet was cooked to perfection! However, the salmon, which I ordered medium, arrived well done. After an 8-hour road trip, I was really hungry, so I chose to eat it rather than sending it back to the kitchen. The server was very polite, but my water glass did go empty at one point. The atmosphere was great, and there was plenty of parking available. It's also safe for those with celiac disease, as gluten-free options are offered.
The atmosphere is fantastic!l, the old school conversion is super cool!It’s southern cooking and is delicious. They have all the staples with a twist and some unexpected options. The meatloaf and chicken fried steak are phenomenal. The seasonal veggies and okra are mouthwatering, and the pan fried biscuits are just like my mom makes (amazing).We joked about finding a house and moving to Taylor just to eat here! Or is it a joke…
Wow! You absolutely have to visit this place. The menu is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the location is quite unique. The fried green tomatoes are simply amazing. This is the first restaurant I've been to in 40 years that serves deviled eggs! We ordered the filet and the pork medallions, and they were both delicious. Don’t miss out!

I got the strawberry salad without meat. It costs $12.95. It only had spring mix and strawberries. It was supposed to have pecans, but I only found 3 tiny little pieces of pecan. I would not recommend getting it. It was not worth the price. The restaurant was nice and the wait staff was great.
I waited 25 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was only a third full. After that, I had to wait another 20 minutes for tea, which tasted like plain water. We ended up sending it back. There's no reason to pay £2.50 for something that just tasted like water.
This was the third time we ate at Plowman and every time the food has gotten worse. Today even the scrambled eggs were so bad I couldn't figure out how a cook could even make and serve something this awful. We will not be back.
I've been here multiple times now. The food is delicious, they have a full bar, great service, and their desserts are amazing! I'm definitely going to add this place to my regular rotation. Reserva una mesa ahora
