The reception experience was disappointing. When we arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, there was no one at the reception desk. I asked a nearby staff member for assistance and was told to wait for 10 minutes. After waiting, we were still not approached, and guests who arrived later were seated before us. When I finally spoke to the receptionist, who later helped those guests, she said, "You didn't tell me, so there's nothing I could do," without offering any apology. I was left wondering what I should have done in that situation. The server, however, was polite, though the wait was lengthy, and while the food was satisfactory, it didn't stand out.
This restaurant is truly exceptional. The service was warm and attentive, the food was not only delicious but also innovative and perfectly portioned, and the bartender crafted excellent cocktails. The wine list was extensive and enjoyable to peruse on its own. Our server was very helpful in recommending an interesting and reasonably priced wine, and the dessert was simply incredible—definitely try the Cherry Chocolate Bomb. The ambiance was lovely as well.
