Po House, Good Eats Libations, Sound Side Dining

Hands down THE BEST MEAL that we 've had in OBX in 10 years. I 'm not exaggerating, either. From first taste to last byte, we both were blown away by the freshness of the ingredients and abundance of flavor. I had the Mojo Fish Chips (with fresh caught spotted trout) and my wife had the Everything Tuna. Light and well balanced with excellent sides (the crispy smashers, coleslaw, avocado puree, coconut rice, side salad with cucumber, carrot, edamame, and soy dressing were all shared with enthusiasm). Our drinks (Effen Good Cucumber Lemonade and Lavender Bees Knees) were unique and excellent. All of the seafood was caught that day out of Hatteras and many of the ingredients are sourced locally...

While vacationing in the OBX, my friends and I went to Po House for dinner. I think this was my favorite meal from the trip. I had the crab cakes and they were perfect. The feta appetizer was amazing..just needed some extra bread served with it. My friends ordered fish chips and the short ribs and they all loved theirs as well. We sat outside on the deck but the mosquitoes were so bad that we had to move inside, which the staff were very understanding and accommodating. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Tasty fish albeit a little dry and chips (potato smashers? were unique and very good. Seafood bisque delicious. Po boy had like 8 oysters and they were delicious. Side salad and Cole slaw fresh and very good. Friendly service timely turn around.

By far probably one of the best places in whole NC to eat . Small but very fresh everything made of scratch stunning view and drinks are amazing as well . Servers are amazing as well definitely a place to go

We were very surprised with our meals. The fresh fish was mahi mahi. Cooked to perfection. The baked feta small plate was also delicious. We will return.
