However, I ultimately rated the experience just 2 stars because of several issues. There were two staff members, but only one was taking orders, while the other seemed hesitant to assist. At one point, she mentioned she would be back but just stood there. She was only involved in delivering food, not taking orders, which was confusing and not very efficient.
The only item I would recommend from this place is their sushi, as it’s a Japanese poke restaurant and ought to have quality sushi. I can’t recommend anything else, like the teriyaki or soba. My girlfriend likes sushi, and this is the closest place to us. They are so lazy, and cheap. Every time we order sushi they cram all of our Sushi into one container. I am allergic to raw fish. So because they?re being so cheap, trying to save containersthey put her raw sushi next to my cooked sushi. How about being mindful instead, and realize that some people are allergic tocertain things. This place never separates anything, and never reads the special notes. Pure laziness, I do not recommend.
I absolutely love this place! I haven't come across any other local sushi restaurant that offers the same quality and freshness as Poke Ocean. It's locally owned by a family who supports the community, and it's just fantastic. I had to order from another place recently (only because Poke was closed), and I was incredibly disappointed. I definitely won't make that mistake again!

Delicious food, great sushi. My first order, the ramen bowl was broken in the bottom and the broth went straight through the bowl, and drained out the bottom into the carpet. I called and they were very nice about it. I got my back from doordash andkindly asked the owner to check the bowls so someone like me doesn't have their expectations ruined again.
I think this place has started to go downhill. Two out of three items ordered didn’t seem fresh including my egg/tamago sushi. There is no way it was prepared when I ordered it. It was cold, limp and scant. The egg thin and much larger than the rice. I don’t know if I can order from here again.
I ordered this sushi from ubereats, the worst sushi I have ever had. The ones you can get at walmart are better. Pieces are not even and they give you shrimp tail.
This place is amazing. Greeted at the door every time and the food is fantastic! Great place to eat and very clean. Highly recommend the clear soup!
