Can't believe we've only just came around to try this spot. Both the bowl with rice and the nachos were so good. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the nachos, but it honestly was so much better than I thought. The poke was super buttery and fresh both kinds were awesome although I'm a spicy ahi girl at heart. Afternoon time for a late lunch wasn't too bad in terms of the line at all and street parking around the shop wasn't terrible either.
Based on the reviews, we only ordered one serving of the poke, which turned out to be a BIG mistake. The nachos and poke, in particular, were AMAZING. The sauce was flavorful, and the poke practically melted in my mouth. The restaurant itself was a bit on the small side, but we found parking quite easily along the street.
This is the best lunch place on Oahu! The poke is fantastic, and the hot plates are even better. The Kalua pork and braised beef are absolutely perfect. The only downside is that you won’t find anything else that compares. It’s affordable, delicious, fresh, and authentic. You definitely have to give it a try!

This place is truly a hidden gem, just as others have mentioned. I ordered the mini Kamikaze poke bowl, and it was amazing, especially after a morning hike. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but that’s often the case with great food spots.
One of the best poke on island and a hidden gem way away from tourists. Their poke and pulled pork are better than many five star restaurants in downtown Waikiki.
The Mini Ahi Nachos came in a generous portion. The spicy ahi was delicious, and the sauce was thick. The staff were very friendly as well.
