Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour

Polar Cave is the best! They make waffle cones to order that are warm when you get them, but crisp up in no time, so they don’t melt your ice cream or get soggy. We all ordered the cub size, which was plenty big enough for the kiddos and adults. They have baby, cub, mama, and papa sizes. Sprinkles are free and prices are fair for the amount of ice cream you get. My little one loved the crazy vanilla which was a mixture of colors and looked like a rainbow. We also liked the Twix, Oreo, and Almond Joy. My husband was not a fan of the cinnamon in the waffle cone, but did enjoy his ice cream just not the cone. We will definitely go back again!

I dont get this place. I wanted to like it because of the great reviews. We waited in line 30 minutes, not a problem as long as the product is worth it. Hint: It wasn’t. The ice cream isnt great, tastes more ice than cream, as in all the good milk fat (the expensive part of making ice cream) is not in it. The made-to-order cones looked like they would be amazing but they are just scooped from tubs of highly processed pre made batter and they just taste like fake synthetic sugar.

One of my favorite ice cream places to go often, however 3 weeks ago I placed a cake order for my sons birthday to be picked up today and they never made it because they wrote down the wrong pick up date, on top of that I ordered 4 ice creams to go and they gave me two of the wrong ice creams. I just wish maybe they could have done a little more instead of just saying “whoops I’m sorry”. Things happen but I’m definitely disappointed and feel that they didn’t really care.

The Goldilocks Sampler, as advertised, contrary to any naysayers, was indeed the absolute perfect amount of ice cream and it gave you the breadth of options that Polar Cave offers. Wow! ?
