Having lived in the area my whole life, I love discovering different Mexican-owned restaurants across Chicago, and I frequently travel to Mexico to visit family. I can say with confidence that this restaurant serves the most authentic Mexican cuisine in our neighborhood. The staff is warm and attentive, and being family-owned and operated, their pride in the food shines through in the quality and flavor of every dish.

I had a rather unsatisfactory experience at this restaurant. I ordered a cup of ice water to go with my meal, but it came in a dirty cup with dirt floating in it. When I asked for a second cup, the situation was unfortunately the same. The staff appeared indifferent, and there was a noticeable lack of professionalism along with slow service overall. On a positive note, they do provide good vegetarian options.

Usually, the restaurant and the food are excellent, but my experience today was ruined by a massive cockroach at the counter. There was no explanation provided, and it felt as though they expected me to just ignore it.

I ordered the Pollo Asado and I'm quite disappointed. Considering that your specialty is supposed to be Pollo Asado, the chicken lacked flavor. It was very bland and tasted almost nothing.

I called to ask about their menu, and the woman who answered was quite rude and disrespectful. She told me to check the menu online and then abruptly hung up on me.

I'll definitely be coming back! **Parking Tip:** The strip mall can get quite crowded during lunch, so you may need to park on the street.

The chicken is decent, but it could use a bit more seasoning. That said, it does fill you up.
