italien ohne pasta is like green Christmas, something is missing. the ristorante polo has mastered this ancient Italian tradition! the handmade pasta tasted amazing. we went for the truffle tagliatelle and the seasonal ramson pasta, both surpassed our expectations and also are very...probably price!eva our waitress was always very friendly and made our evening meal exceptional. the restaurant is open for publicity, so make sure to get a table as it is literally 5 minutes away from asconas old town.

I had the pleasure of eating at Restaurant Polo, where I was served a five course menu. I had some of the best tagliatelle I have ever tasted, and I even tried a goulash that actually had flavour! The coffee was perfectly made and complimented...the tiramisu I had masterfully. over, our waiter was very sweet and made the meal even more enjoyable. Would definitely go back!

If you want a beautiful “pasta chat” and a good glass wein, you can complete it here. the fagottini with meat filling and crumbling from their own garden are excellent. we enjoyed one of their local red negromante and learned how. limited this wein is a great match with eating. will come back for more thanks to the great service team!

Die Polo Inn ist ein günstiges, kleines Hotel im Zentrum von Ascona. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, sauber und sehr praktisch eingerichtet. excellent kitchen, pleasant ambiente and super friendly service always with a smile and eager to please. the total food experience and the price are good five minutes to walk from the promenade. we have dined and relaxed several times during our stay in ascona and hope to return soon.

Had dinner at Restaurant Polo and it was great! Got a five course meal, with beer and wine, and tasted all kinds of delicious dishes (mostly Italian, but also others . Think this is one of the few restaurants where I actually went home full and...satisfied:
