This Popeyes is the worst. Can you believe they run out of their top-selling items during the dinner rush? You always have to double-check your order to ensure they got it right. And the wait—30 minutes for two sandwiches and a mac and cheese! By the way, the sandwiches were cold. To make matters worse, there are vagrants loitering in front of the door, and now they're hanging out inside as well. When I asked the staff why they didn't ask them to leave, they said they didn't want to cause any trouble. So, paying customers have to deal with that? I have cherished memories of visiting this restaurant with my grandma, who has played a significant role in my life. Without a doubt, Popeyes is my favorite fast food place. There's something uniquely special about the flavor and nostalgia I experience when I bite into their chicken tenders. This particular location holds a special spot in my heart. Even aside from the nostalgic feelings, the tenders are so delicious that I would come here just for them. However, I've encountered some issues—occasionally, they get my order wrong, some of the servers can be unfriendly, the windows are often dirty, and the tables are seldom cleaned. Because of these reasons, I usually choose to order takeout.
If I could, I would give this place zero stars! As someone new to the area, my experience here has been extremely disappointing because of poor service and a clear disregard for customers. I ordered through Uber Eats and waited more than an hour, only to find out that several items were "out of stock." When I visited the restaurant to inquire about my order, the manager was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation. I'm very frustrated and definitely won't be returning.

This Popeyes location is tidy, and the food here is tastier than at many other Popeyes I've been to. Although nothing can quite replicate the experience of dining at a Popeyes in Louisiana, this one gets pretty close. I’m definitely planning to visit again soon, as they clearly put more effort into preparing their food than most other locations.
I've never experienced food being prepared as quickly as I did at Atwell. The restaurant was clean, and the service was quite good. However, I thought the red beans and rice could use a bit more seasoning, as they were lacking in flavor. The chicken and biscuits were decent, though.
