We popped in because it clever looked hygienic from the outside and we felt comfortable that we wouldn't be recognised because staff and customers barely recognised each other. We ordered fish and chips each. We didn't consider that the order would challenge them, what with it being a fish and chip shop. But hey ho, can't be many people who have been asked to catch the fish they want. So martin, (I think was the owners name-he was slightly feminine looking), reassured us that everything was normal , so there we were, the four of us perched on the sides of the deep fay fryer, each holding a fishing rod. Don't even bother asking what we were using for bait. It's too messed up. Like proper mess...
I highly recommend this local restaurant for a variety of delicious dishes, from small lamb and chicken shish kebabs to a satisfying skate cod supper. The food is high quality yet affordable, comparable to what you would expect at a takeaway. The staff are friendly and the meals are always cooked fresh. I typically don't leave feedback, but this new Popeyes is truly fantastic and deserves recognition.
This is my second visit to the restaurant today. My daughter is a regular customer here and she introduced me to this place. The fish is incredibly fresh and the portions are huge. It's cheaper than anywhere else in the East Barnet/Cockfosters area, but you have to pick it up because they don't deliver. The staff are amazing. I hope they start offering delivery service in the future. Rated 5 stars.
I needed 40 fish suppers, 3 sausage chips, and 3 spring rolls chips at 1pm for the church’s friendship group. All ready at the right time and piping hot. They even knocked a little something off the price! Thank you Popeye’s excellent value for money and everyone had a fabulous lunch. (Obviously, we checked this was ok a week earlier and put in the final order the day before).

This my favourite local chip shop and they are the best. Its a family run business and they are awesome so friendly and welcoming. Their cod supper is so good and so is their doner kebab, my daughters loves getting a kebab roll and I must say do I.
This is by far the best fish and chips I have ever had. The cod is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the chips are piping hot. The service is top-notch as well. Thank you, Popeyes!

None of the staff on my visit wearing masks or gloves and allowing the waiting area to be crowded. When I questioned the manager he told me it was too hot to wear masks.

Lovely freshly cooked fresh fish every time with best crispy batter ever. Always served with a smile and perfect chips. This is our regular now!
Literally my favourites, best fish and chips yum and most nicest customer service. I highly recommended the cod supper its so good.
