I just visited Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and had a disappointing experience. When I walked in to order, a young man was ready to take my order, but a young woman with her hair in a bun—who seemed to be the manager—stopped him and sent him off to do a minor task. Eventually, he took my order; he was a nice guy but offered average customer service. After leaving the store to buy something else, I checked my bag and realized my fries were missing from my chicken sandwich combo. I called the store nine times with no answer. I have consistently had negative experiences at this Popeyes location. During my most recent visit, I waited over 20 minutes for my food, even though there were no other cars in line. The employee forgot to give back my card and walked away. I tried to get her attention, but I was ignored for another 15 minutes before someone finally came back. Haven't had a single experience at this Popeyes location that wasn't bad. Last time had to wait over 20 minutes for food while there were no other cars in the drive thru. The worker forgot to hand me back my card and walked away. I tried to flag themdown, but was ignored for another 15 minutes before they came back and I asked for my card back and my sauce which they neverprovided but was part of the original order. I had a disappointing experience at this Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen from the moment I pulled up to the drive-thru. After waiting five minutes, I had to go up to the window to place my order directly. I ordered two 3-piece dinners, specifying legs only, and repeated this twice to be sure. When I received my order, I double-checked if it was legs only, and the employee confirmed it was. However, when I got home and opened the bag, both orders included legs and thighs. To make matters worse, the chicken tasted like it had been refried—it wasn’t golden brown but a dark brown color. Popeyes offers some of the best chicken I've ever had, and the side dishes are equally delicious. The cinnamon apple pie is absolutely amazing, though it's on the pricier side. Occasionally, there are some great deals that make it worthwhile. My only complaint was the service; it was quite slow. I understand that many places are struggling to find staff, so I can empathize. Nevertheless, you won't be disappointed with the food itself.

It was hard to tell if the waitress was simply slow or just not interested, but the service was overall very poor. Everything took an excessively long time. I wish I had caught her name, but I believe she will recognize herself in this review. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

The service was rude and impolite, and I was left unattended at the counter for more than 7 minutes. It felt like the staff was watching us through a two-way mirror from the management office. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for African American or Hispanic customers.

The popcorn shrimp were extremely disappointing for $12. This is quite unacceptable.
