Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I never leave reviews especially nowadays because I know restaurants are short staffed, so I try my best to be understanding with employees but my experience tonight was awful. We waited to order for about 30mins, once we ordered we get to the window, paid and waited another 20 minutes just to be told they are all of a sudden out of all the sides we order. Ok why didn’t you all tell us this 20mins ago. After we asked for a refund the cashier goes to tell us ohh we got one of the sides but you all will have to pull over and wait. Ok we pull over and waited but my husband decided to go in and wait. Once he enter the inside of the restaurant the employees are chatting with their family members like it’s not 20 cars in the drive thru but that’s not the issue I have. The issue I have is the family members that are in the lobby getting free food but not only free food but all the sides that I was just told they didn’t have for my $40.00 order. Plus some of our food was cold. As a paying customer I didn’t appreciate that at all. I will never give this Popeyes my business again.

The service was terrible and the food was worse! I was charged $29.00 for a 2 PC chicken meal combo and a popcorn shrimp combo!! After I ordered 5 other customers ordered and were served ahead of me and my food was not hot or fresh when I finally got it. There were very few shrimp in the box and the fries were old. I was so mad at that point I threw it in the trash. I wish I could give a negative 5 rating. Sending pic of the shrimp box!!

Have never had such horrendous service. Girl at the drive through was so rude and disrespectful for literally no reason. Manager came on the speaker over her to take my order because she was so incredibly rude and argumentative. When she took my money and gave me my food, she never spoke a word. Gave one star because the wait took less time that ordering my food did.

In addition to the slow service (which I do not accuse at all because it seems as if all restaurants are experiencing personnel problems) the food is always hot, fresh and CRUNCHY!! I get the chicken sandwich every time and I have to have a bad order. I can't speak for other Popeyes, but the one on McFarland is amazing.

We stopped there on Christmas Eve that drove home from Nashville. Only managers worked. They were very friendly and our food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We had 5 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 2 years. Very pleasant.
