This is a small and cute bakery in the area. I came by during Valentine’s Day. One of the ladies was decorating the window with Valentine’s Day theme. We ordered the coffee cake and almond croissant. The croissant was very fluffy and crispy. It is one of the best croissant I had in the US, it reminded me of the bakery and croissants I had in Paris. Servers are very helpful and friendly as I asked them for recommendations of the pastries. Will come back again for more croissants! Street parking is available.
This place presents like a retail store for a bakery that happens to sell food on the side. The baked goods are decent quality. Coffee (note: no espresso) is mediocre at best. I didn’t try the dishes so I can’t speak to them. The vibe is borderline non-existent so if want to sit down don’t bother. I’m not sure why their machine defaults to a 20% tip when they mostly appear to sell retail.
I 've been coming here at least once a week but WOW today I received very rude answers from the person who was helping me , not sure but I could think it was the owner. You 're really not doing me a favor, I really enjoyed your pastries till today, unfortunately :
I don't comprehend why this bakery scores such high ratings. Their offerings are truly subpar. Their croissants lack flavor. The heart shaped sugar cookies are insipid. The baked goods are aesthetically pleasing but just awful in flavor.

I don’t know why people complain about this place I love it! The avocado toast with hard boiled egg on sourdough is the best in the USA IMHO. The breads are great, as are the sandwiches. Did I mention that they sell half sandwiches?!?!
Charming little bakery offering a variety of delightful treats. The food is delicious and highly recommended! Parking: There isn't any parking right in front, so you'll need to find street parking on the side and walk a short distance.
Haven’t been here in a while and boy has it gone down hill! Especially the customer service, the person who took my order was so rude! Cashier was sweet. My sandwich was mostly all dressing. Prices went up also.
We love poppy cakes! It is such a cute little bakery to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Their sourdough is divine. The staff is very welcoming and helpful as well.

Sierra madre location does not have coffee cake. Sadly went here based on google review. Next time I will double check menu online before making trip.
The salmon and avocado toast is my go-to. And if you're looking for desert, their chocolate chip cookie is delicious.
