we were actually on our way out of town and suddenly had a craving for a pastry of some kind as it was too late for breakfast but too early to grab lunch and we weren't all that hungry. we were literally driving by when we saw the building and sign and decided to pull over across the street and walk over. i don't remember exactly what kind of small sandwich my partner ordered but they were pleased and it hit the spot for them and not being too full afterwards. i ordered the blueberry muffin which was delicious and they even warmed it up for me. Poppy Cake Baking Co. Is a uniquely wonderful establishment. The quality, creativity and attention to detail is inspiring. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. Still working my way through the menu. Pastries are always fresh (the cheese danish is my fave), the salads refreshing and satisfying, and their sandwiches and breakfast toasts are delicious!

I stop in occasionally to the tiny Arcadia shop. Wonderful coffee. Really good Americano.
