This hidden gem deserves more than 5 stars. We stumbled upon this tearoom turned restaurant after a day of seal-watching and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing decor reminiscent of a 1944 wartime bunker. We decided to have an early dinner and were blown away by the best mixed grill I've ever had, made with locally sourced products, including meat from the farm behind the restaurant. My wife loved her toad in the hole, and we left extremely full. Though we didn't have time for dessert, we couldn't resist taking some of the tempting cakes home. The coffee walnut cake was the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. The only downside is that we live 200 mi...

I had never been to this restaurant before and assumed it was just another café, but I was pleasantly surprised! The entire place is themed after the 1940s, with an unexploded bomb site and Anderson shelter outside, as well as hundreds of memorabilia pieces throughout. The menu items are named after the era (such as evacuees breakfast) and the food was delicious (four of us had breakfast). We didn't have to wait long to be served, and all of the staff were dressed in 1940s attire. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to come back!

Wow wow wow. Not enough wows to describe this place. I believe its someone's private collection of items which they've set up as a coffee shop. His older brother runs the business and his dad was in the sweet shop. The collection itself is amazing, add to that great food and service, music of the era, fantastic atmosphere. Plenty of parking, inside and outside seating. It was so in the middle of nowhere, just in the edge of the broads national park. Fabulous gift shop with old fashioned sweeties.

Was looking forward to coming here but so disapointed by the service. Its dog friendly BUT we had to carry our Dachshund up and down a flight of stairs (downstairs is not dog friendly ? . I went back downstairs and asked if we order at the till and was told they will come up stairs and take my order. 10+ minutes passed and nobody came and there was two other couples waiting before us, so we left, very disapointed, this place has so much potential, but they are letting themselves down. Went with some friends to the Tea Rooms for lunch. We found a table but after a long wait with no sign of a waitress we went downstairs to see if we could be served. A waitress finally appeared and took our order. After over an hour wait for our food it appeared but was well over cooked and tough. I'm sure if you just went for tea and cake it would be fine but this establishment is not kitted out for cooking meals. Very disappointing.

A very unique and enjoyable place to stop for food and or a drink. A very varied menu with lots of choice and the dishes have in keeping with the cafe theme names. All the food we had was very good. Regrettably the lady that served us was efficient but not very happy or friendly and the man in the gift shop opposite the cafe was just rude. But it's certainly worth visiting this very unique place. My guess is it can get very busy.

Second visit. Food was very average. I had a gluten free breakfast but the sausage was totally inedible because it was totally overcooked (I'm assuming deep fat fried from the texture) and flabby thick bacon. The tea was great though nice big pot with a cute wartime knitted warmer. A nice shop in the grounds too.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is great. They are dog-friendly upstairs and have a ramp for easy access. Additionally, there is a fantastic shop on the premises with great souvenir options. Plus, parking is available. Reserva una mesa ahora

Such a quirky, interesting place. Like a mini immersive museum. Even has a little shop with 1940's toys and sweets. I thought it a little expensive £12 for a scone with jam and two coffees, hence four stars.
