Food - 3 starsService - 3.5 starsDecor - 3 starsValue - 2.5 starsAlmost every European country has a version of a roast pork sandwich. I have had a porchetta sandwich dozens of times and mostly Home made. I saw this commercial at the movie theatre and was anxious to try it because it looked amazing. Well, unfortunately, it was a disappointment. We were greeted nicely at the cash and we ordered 2 porchetta, one fried chicken and one mortadella sandwiches, 4 sodas, and a side of rapini. All this for almost $60. I figured that the sandwiches would be big and maybe the high cost would be worth it. Well, once again, not the case. All the sandwiches were low on meat except the fried chicken. I was...

A double entendre? Yes, on the one hand the porchetta was a bit too well done, resembling pulled pork in some ways rather than sliced roasted porchetta that you might get in Italy. Still, I'm fine with their interpretation of the classic sandwich. On the other hand, it was assembled very well, with what seemed as drippings added and served on a truly excellent italian roll. So the overall effect is very well done indeed! The roasted potatoes side was also excellent, large chunky pieces of well seasoned spuds. Prices are high for a sandwich, but the quality is excellent, so a notch or two above most sandwich shops. I visited the new location on Guy and Sherbrooke, just opened in January.

We shop at the Italian Grocery directly across the street from this sandwich shop. We decided to stop in today for a quick lunch and we will now make this a mandatory stop every time we come to Little Italy. The mortadella sandwich was out of this world. My wife had the porchetta and it was just as good. We got a small glass of wine and a side of potatoes with each and it was heaven. We will be back.

Tremendous spot to have a wonderful sandwich with porchetta, a typical Italian street food. It follows the usual quality of the Italian porchetta and the personnel is extremely nice; try also their zeppole, fresh and delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

The classic porchetta sandwich is incredibly delicious. The choice of bread is great! The sandwich alone is enough for a quick great lunch. I would definitely go back.
