From the start, the lack of hospitality was glaring. The waiter didn’t greet us, thank us, ask how everything was, or even say goodbye. The sodas were flavorless—clearly the syrup was out. I ordered a well-done cheeseburger, but it arrived medium rare. We sent it back, and it came back still pink inside. Instead of a new burger, they just refired it with the ketchup still on it!
I also ordered buffalo wings, which were dry and tasteless, and the blue cheese served was dressing instead of a proper dip. I asked for the check three times while my waiter chatted with a coworker, seemingly unaware of us.

As far back as high school, late night drinking and parties with friends and family, Mother's Day and Birthday Parties. If we were spontaneous, The diner was always an option.However, this past week, that all changed. The food felt undercooked, over seasoned, reduced portion. Even the OJ seemed spoiled. If we thought port chester was changing, seeing this icon place take a dive only added to the sadness of losing my grandfather this week.
I walked in and stood at the counter for 15 minutes waiting to order takeout. The lady informed me that someone would assist me, but during that time, she seated three other parties and took their orders while I continued to wait. The customer service was terrible. After 15 minutes, I finally asked if I could place my order, and she just stared at me.
Not so great chix salad sandwich was pasty and flavorless and i asked for rye toast but got it not toasted waitress never appeared again to inform her had to ask for a side of tomato didn't come with it and the Cole slaw was cut with core pieces inside not my favorite place would go there only for eggs and coffee

I always try to see the positive in things? but this was just a bad experience. I ordered a medium steak and eggs. This was over cooked and flavorless. Ketchup, Tobasco and A1 were all needed to take down this steak. I?m sorry, but this was not a good meal.
The staff is very friendly and even recognized some members of our group who are regulars at the diner. The food is consistently delicious and served hot.
My wife and I split an Omelette and French Toast. The Coach Diner is worth a stop. It's just off 95.
Really good food just happened to stop on the way through to Boston and was very happy we did
