We have been to Port Land Grill several times as it was one of our favorite fine dining establishments, but this visit will absolutely be our last. We were celebrating our anniversary, so it was a special night for us and we were excited to splurge a little on a nice, romantic meal out. From the several gnats that were flying around us and even landing in our water glasses, to the appallingly poor service that we received from a server that clearly was uninterested in serving us, to the very small portion sizes, and finally to the steak that was way overcooked and after being convinced to have a new steak prepared (that was also overcooked), my dish had grown cold while waiting. This is one of the best restaurants in Wilmington, it's got a gorgeous outdoor space, the food is outstanding, and the wait staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. All steaks and some fish are wood fire grilled, always fresh, the sauces are amazing, and the desserts are wonderful (save room for the coconut cake. They are very accommodating to gluten free needs.

Calvin made our first experience at PLG memorable with excellent recommendations. Impeccable service by him and all staff we encountered. Amiable and formal in balance. Surpassed expectations. Corn meal fried oysters and blueberry corn salad were tasty starters. The sea scallops and monk fish were nicely prepared. Will return.

Food delicious, steaks done right, service excellent. But they do not offer bread or anything to nibble on with your drinks. Also the peach bread pudding, while good was garnished with artificial cream. Disappointing for such an upscale and expensive restaurant Reserva una mesa ahora

One of the best venues my wife and I have ever been to in this region and we would also include Los Angeles and New York City. This is AC blind venue that offers amazing cuisine and some of the best cocktails in town.

It was our first time dining at Port Land Grille and it was excellent. A beautiful setting, exceptional service, and the food was excellent. A great menu. We'll definitely dine there again.
