Port O Call - Reserva de mesa

We spent a lovely day walking the pavements overlooking the Plymouth Sound. None of the eateries were particularly appealed, and that's when I remembered this wonderful little cafe I had been to some years ago. Just 5 mins from the Hoe, although it was dark from the outside, the staff were very accommodating and pleasant, and they did takeaway which was music to our hungry ears. I ordered the steak and kidney pie, and my partner had the gammon roast. We found a sunny spot overlooking the water, and had a brilliant lunch. The restaurant has a charming old-fashioned cafe atmosphere and serves ample portions of delicious food. It has built a strong reputation over the years with both locals and tourists. It is a family-run business with attentive and friendly staff. The prices are reasonable for a wide range of dine-in or takeout options. The kitchen is visible to customers, and the restrooms are clean. The restaurant is compliant with Covid guidelines. Highly recommended.

Found this restaurant when walking the dog and noticed its always busy from breakfast onwards. On visiting it for Sunday roast I can see why, good honest home cooked food at very competitive prices. Two sizes of roast and usually at least 3 choices of meat and a pie of the day. Their steak and kidney pie with all the roast trimmings is particularly good. This is has now become our go to roast.

Just driven past hungry and thought we would get a couple of bacon baguettes to takeaway and have to say that the young girl and lady who where out the front serving where the nicest, friendly ladies. I have never been in before but the phone was constantly going for orders and no wonder, food was lovely but made nicer by the ladies who worked there x Reserva una mesa ahora

There is a wide variety of dishes available at this restaurant, ranging from burgers to roast lunches. The small roast lunch I ordered was delicious, hot, and satisfying. They also offer all day breakfast upon request.

We've been coming to this honest, family-run business for over a decade. The consistency, value for money and friendly staff, preparing home-cooked meals are hard to beat anywhere. Superb.

Never had a bad experience here, honestly got to be the best most reasonably priced roast dinner. and offering them in two sizes is good too, less waste. Also do scrumptious breakfasts..

Lovely little place, I felt like I was sat in someone’s family kitchen. Staff were lovely, attentive and polite and the food was lovely. I recommend the roast dinner on a Sunday Reserva una mesa ahora

I haven't been to this restaurant in a while since I left Plymouth, but the staff is great and the breakfast is amazing. It's definitely one of the things I miss about Plymouth.

Had some wonderful lunch at a very good price, friendly staff and a quick service! Was quite as it wasn't really a meal time but that didn't matter.
