Portillo's Buena Park

Service was terrible which is really weird because they have Soo many people working there, my order was ready but they never called my number i was standing there for almost 10 minutes until I approached the counter to check my order... it was sitting there, the same bag I saw them place there 10 minutes earlier... Now for the food..we ordered chicken tenders combo, chicken tenders were pretty decent size but unfortunately we're bland no flavor, french fries on the other hand were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Food was good. The woman who took our order seemed like she was in a rush and came off as rude. Not to mention there was no one was behind us for her to be rushing. When we walked up to the counter she didn't greet us and only said she could take our order. We ordered hot dogs and she didn't even offer the jumbo hotdog. When we went back to buy dessert my friend wanted to ask this same girl a question. She brushed her off saying she was closed and the other lady would help her. The group of friends I was with was not happy about the service and not sure we would be back. We came from Glendora and it took us an hour with traffic to get there and we left disappointed.

I had such a great time! Everything was really good, but my favorites were the beef hotdog, the Maxwell Street Polish sausage, and their famous chocolate cake! The staff here are so warm and definitely tend to all your needs. They do their absolute best to make your visit a positive experience and I appreciate that so much. I can’t wait to go back and bring friends!

I was there my first time a month ago I ate a Greek salad. I asked the manager later if it come with chicken because mine didnt have any. He was siper nice offered me a dessert..then said come back gor a free one. A month later Im back he wasnt here but they took my word for it. WONDERFUL FEELING THEY REALIZED I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH. Saw someone ruin a Chicago dog here but more about that later. If you want something incredible order the Big Italian Beef, quick dip but also ask for gravy on the side, cheese sauce and both hot and sweet giardiniera. Of course you will also need a cake shake. This place is always kickin'. A bit of a drive for me, but worth it when I'm in the area . I always have trouble picking what to eat, so I usually go with beef, dipped with sweet peppers. Can't beat that. Dogs are good too, but let's face it I came for the beef!

I can vouch for everything you have read about this place! What a wonderful spot to hangout and relax with a few friends after work. Authentic food, reasonable price, tasty dishes, and great atmosphere! And for dessert, Porto's is just a few blocks away!
