The best Italian beef in the Chicagoland area! While I’m sure the other items on the menu are delicious too, the beef is so incredible that I order it every time. There are only a handful of places that receive a 5-star rating from me, and this is definitely one of them.
This was my first visit to this location, and I have to say the food at Portillo's never disappoints—it's consistently great. The service here was prompt, and the atmosphere was casual and not too noisy, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
visited the chicago area and ate here. food was NOT good and made me drive into the city through traffic and get the the real thing. 5 star service though very hard working dedicated employees.

A close friend from the Chicago area recommended we try Portillo's for our very first Italian Beef Sandwich. And WOW! It might be a bit messy to eat, but...
Really delicious, a classic roast beef will always be my favorite. Sad there's not a Barnellis at this location but you can't win them all. :
Dam great Jumbo Hot dog. Maxwell and great tasting chopped salad. Oh almost for the I beefs are IT!!!! Fries kind of suck. I will go back.
