Landed in this great restaurant almost 7 years ago and could not wait to go back. It didn't disappoint again. Started with baked provolon, roasted garlic, roasted tomatoes and roasted crostini. Absolutely great! Our main dish was a surfing and lawn of flank and swordfish. The flank had a brown sugar bourbon reduction. The swordfish had a fog-mustard glaze. We accompanied this wonderful meal with a Chateau du Bousquet 2018. I must also mention that our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and patient.
If I have to travel to Upstate New York to eat a (very good) seasoned meal, so be it. I had the Delmonico Steak and let us just say that plans are already made to visit again. This place is good. You want to change your life? Get the mushroom berry and the Calamari Shrimp frit. My word, it was divine. If the drinks and dessert the apps and Entrées, I would have given 5 stars. Make your reservation.
Went here for the first time tonight. I am super picky if someone is charging me $40 for a meal but it was worth every penny. I had steak and scallops. My wife had shrimp over pasta. Both were excellent. Dessert and appetizer were also great. The place was packed on a Tuesday night. What else do you need to know other than make a reservation.
Our meals were absolutely delicious! We had mushroom Ragout and Burrata for appetizers, flank steak and scallops and Mahi for entrees, and Texas skilled cakes for dessert, and they were all excellent. Good variety, well-made food, beautiful ambience. In any case, a reservation in advance is an open secret how good this place is!
