Poseidon - Reservar una mesa

Unlike the other reviewers, i don't share their enthusiasm. I stay locally and ate here years ago and so i am not a first time reviewer. The portions are huge and cheap so if you like quantity, its here. The appetiser for two people...on three plates would look fabulous but heaped onto one loaded platter it all was a mess there was a mound of tzatziki burying the two dolmades and so on. The intermezzo salad was one of the worst i have ever been served random torn lettuce leaves swimming in mayonnaise and all crammed into a desert bowl what ever happened to the classic greek salad that we love. Where did the mayonnaise come from, not Greece. Maybe this appeals to locals but then serve a proper salad. The main course of grilled meats was a repeat of the piled up mess of the appetiser. Copious free glasses of ouzo couldn't save the poor presentation. The dated exterior and interior are dreadfully kitsch so the whole experience was like eating in a bad tourist restaurant and not what could be as an authentic and stylish Greek experience with smaller but better presented and maybe using simple Greek ingredients. The staff tried hard, but it is a fine balance between being too personal when its let down by the food. As with many restaurants in Greece, this is cash only all the other local restaurants in this part of Germany accept credit cards. In summary, the cook has to improve a lot before i would call this a Greek restaurant based on my extensive and thoroughly enjoyable travels in Greece. I was disappointed and suggest you drive on.

Isolated from other business establishments, this restaurant is not the easiest to spot. But the staff is extremely friendly. The extensive menu offers numerous choices of unpretentious but tasty Greek food. Portions are big sometimes too big for me and the prices are...very reasonable. Highly recommended for an ethnic restaurant on a side road running parallel to an Autobahn.

One of my favourite restaurants! The food is really good, the portions are huge and the prices are unexpectedly low. You get a special treatment receiving some ouzo and desert on the house. It couldn't be better!

let me first say that I love Greek eating. I go with my wife to so many Greek restaurants that she now thinks that is all I eat. when we first arrived in this restaurant, we were amazed at the great selection. .

this is my experience after the most unprofessional restaurant. the table was dirty. the salate was brought without dressing. no salt or pfeffer on our table.
