I was quite disappointed with this location. I visited a few years ago when I was out of town and was impressed, but today was a different story. First off, my bagel was supposed to be toasted but it wasn't, so I had to go back in and wait in line for it to be done. When I finally got it back, they had microwaved it. The ham was slimy, chewy, and tasted spoiled. There was an outrageous amount of cream cheese—my sister remarked that it felt like she was eating an entire tub of it on her sandwich. Overall, the sandwiches just did not meet my expectations, especially considering we spent $22 for two of them.
The sandwich was delicious, but when I first opened the wrapper, I found it was missing the lox. I went back to the restaurant, and they were quick to remake it and add the lox. They were very kind and apologetic about the mistake—an easy fix! I'm definitely glad I opted for pickup instead of delivery. However, I did notice that the price on their menu board was $2 less than what's shown on this app. Overall, the food and service were great!
The sandwich was delicious and very filling. However, the muffin was a bit disappointing. It tasted good, but it completely crumbled apart after I finished the top. On the plus side, the customer service was extremely friendly. They also have tables and chairs inside, so dining in is an option if you prefer. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and if I get the chance to visit again, I’ll definitely try the bagels!
