I admit to being biased. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the options for German food are not as extensive as I would like, and I'm surprised that these days they haven't yet found a way to charge you for water and...cutlery. When I dine at a place like Postkeller, the value is just off the charts. There is almost a full menu of dinner options that cost less than an appetizer at some of the restaurants I visit back home. The portions at Postkeller are quite generous, and the food is very flavorful and delicious. And then there is the beer. Oh, the beer. In the San Francisco Bay area it is hard to find a taproom or brewpub where you can find a pint of draft craft beer for under often...

I drove all the way from the southern tip of Switzerland try this brewery. I have to say it's totally worth it. The brewery has a pretty comprehensive shop where you can buy mugs, souvenirs, and of course beers in large quantity. Watch out for...their opening hours, the shop closes at mid-day on Saturday I think. Although the restaurant closes at but the kitchen stops pretty much after Their beer is great! I spent the afternoon there to try all of them. No complaints there. No complaints there. Food and service are pretty good as well. I find this restaurant very reasonably priced by Swiss standard.

we have often visited this braupub, before I gave him staring and praised the busy staff, they still work incredibly hard, but this time we found the service a bit arrogant. we had several drinks and wanted to eat when we had ordered the next, but we said that the table was attacked, although there was no sign on the table in the opposite to the other reserved tables. there was a waiting queue for tables and clearly they didn't want us to stay because we had not eaten who had to be asked less rude approach, we were eating before we gave the table to others. the beer is very good.

we had booked a table there, but much less than half full. we ordered a glass of wine and a beer. then our waiting begins. guests at the table next to us with another waitress received drinks, eating and billing before us, although they arrived later. we ate ass carved, which was good, but we had to ask for salt. then it got better. the service was very slow and without smiles. as more guests came, the noise level increased a lot. level as with mc donalds. We stopped in for a local beer while touring Mittenwald yesterday. The family run Postkeller is a beautiful spot to eat or grab a quick beer. Its a family run operation with beautiful views of the mountains. Even though the family speaks little English, they...were warm, inviting, and we communicated well. The beer is terrific, and if you walk behind the brewery, there's a great store where you can buy Mittenwald brewery beer glasses! We bought a to take home. Well worth a visit.

We shared schnitzel and Weissbier for an early dinner here. We sat inside in the bar area due to the August heat, and were waited on promptly. The food was typical Bavarian food and the beer was very good. Atmosphere in the bar was pleasant,...due to everyone else being outside or seated in the restaurant area. Very large restaurant. We basically came for the beer, which was the highlight.

We visited PostKeller mainly for the local beer which is excellent. The food is average Bavarian Food. Generous portions but there are better places to eat in Mittenwald. What was disappointing was the attitude of our young waitress who did not like English or apparently...American guests! Very rude girl and the reason why we did not tip.

We spent approx three hours in the restaurant yesterday and the staff didn’t stop. They work so hard to deliver great food and beer. It’s not the first time we have visited but this time was really busy and the staff worked tirelessly. The beer...is really good and the food is hearty and tasty. Tip well, the staff deserve it ! we ate there three times and have a good tour through Bavarian cuisine. schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) is incredible, and her postkellerpfandl is really one to enjoy. they have jägertee and a large selection of schnaps (hirschkuß is recommended and the service is also good.

this bar restaurant is very large and roomy and furnished with local art. eating looked very good, the hot wine and beer was excellent.
